Meet the Team

James Ridley - Managing Director (jamesr@rappa.co.uk) 

James studied farm management at Sparsholt and Newcastle before working in sheep farming in the UK and New Zealand. After joining his father and brother to develop and market the Rappa electric fence machine, he has built up over 30 years of experience in electric fencing and livestock management. Although James still spends some of his time on the road for Rappa's consultancy service, he now concentrates his energies on strategic planning and marketing, as well as designing and sourcing new products.

Anne McCann - Finance & Admin Director (annem@rappa.co.uk)
A trained accountant, Anne oversees the financial side of Rappa Fencing, setting and controlling budgets, and making sure everyone gets paid! Anne is also in charge of stock control, making sure we have enough product in stock to fulfil orders quickly and easily.

Mick Ridley - Production Director
Mick is responsible for product manufacture and quality control, as well as running the warehouse and despatch areas and managing a team of 8-10 people. Mick also uses his previous engineering skills by working with James on product design and development.

Mark Grant-Goody - Sales Manager (markg@rappa.co.uk)
Mark heads up our sales team, manages its day-to-day operations as well as providing customer support on all aspects of electric fencing. 

Sue Cross - Admin & Logistics Manager (suec@rappa.co.uk)
Sue deals with the day-to-day queries and problems, invoicing customers and liaising with them about their orders and deliveries. Sue also organises deliveries, making sure the arrive exactly when and where you want them.

Emma Haughton - Creative & Marketing Manager (emmah@rappa.co.uk)
With a background in media and journalism, Emma manages the marketing and creative side of our business, overseeing the website and our catalogue.
